Amber is the project lead for The Influence Industry Project. Amber is a researcher and workshop facilitator who studies how data is used in political processes. She has extensive experience leading research and capacity-building projects on data, politics, and activism.

Amber is Project Lead of the Influence Industry Project at Tactical Tech. In this role, she has led research and capacity building projects on data, politics, and activism. Most recently, she led the development of a unique open-source database on 500+ companies working with political parties across the world. Amber completed her PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London examining the use of personal data in civil society campaigns. This research was based on her previous experience working with civil society campaigns, including her role as Digital Activism Officer at Amnesty International.

She holds a Masters in International Law and the Settlement of Disputes from University of Peace, Costa Rica. Amber has provided expertise to the Council of Europe, the International Foundation for Electoral Studies, the Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance, and the UK Electoral Commission.
