Following the amazing success of The Glass Room in New York City, we’re working on exciting plans for 2017 to take The Glass Room to more places than ever before.
Through a curated collection of art objects, animated videos, talks and a “Data Detox Bar”, The Glass Room introduced the topics of data and privacy to over 10,000 people in three weeks. Visitors could attend workshops on how to “Master your mobile” or “Degooglize your life”, and take away a Data Detox Kit, for an 8-day digital makeover to improve their online privacy and security.
Working with our partners Mozilla, we’re planning new formats for the Glass Room for events, organisations, public spaces, and individuals.
Over 2017 we’ll be focusing on reaching people in Europe and the US, so if you are involved in an event or an organisation in those regions that want would be interested in finding out more about data and privacy we want to hear from you.
