Asociación por los Derechos Civiles is a civil society organization based in Argentina that, since its foundation in 1995, works to defend and promote of civil and human rights in Argentina and Latin America. ADC strives for a more democratic and inclusive society, respectful of the rule of law and the recognition of every human being’s dignity, freedom and full exercise of fundamental rights. ADC endorses and defends people’s fundamental rights, advocates for the strengthening of democracy and seeks for an inclusive society, focusing particularly on the more vulnerable groups, through the identification and research on forefront issues, the development of communication and advocacy strategies, and in particular, the use of public interest litigation.
