The International Center for Accelerated Development (ICAD) keyed into the vision of Tactical Technology to provide information to young people on the adversities associated with the use of digital technology. This was done through the Peer Education digital learning series and since then, it has been at the core of ICAD’s program.
The peer-to-peer digital education project utilizes many of Tactical Tech's resources in its trainings, such as Digital You, Data Detox, What the Future Wants, and a peer education training manual co-created with ICAD to work with young people in promoting digital safety, privacy, and wellbeing of young users of the mobile technology.
ICAD's work with Tactical Tech has positively educated and informed more than 1200 young persons who today are peer educator-trainers, advocates, and ambassadors for the positive use of the technology space.
