🔍 New study about the transparency of Facebook disclaimers in the 2022 Lebanon elections

Ads about social issues, elections or politics may require a disclaimer that indicates the entity or person responsible for the ad. This research by Rayan Shaya explores if the campaign messages which ran during the 2022 Lebanese election through Facebook were being appropriately attributed, or rather, if the measures in place by Facebook were accomplishing transparency. 🌟 ROEHANA PROJECT: Building the resilience of human rights defenders in Indonesia

This is an alternative journalism organization in Indonesia that focuses on issues of democracy, human rights, gender and women, culture, and environment with a progressive perspective. In this 2023 partnership with Tactical Tech, they conducted training for 20 human rights defenders from 11 NGOs in Indonesia. Discover more.
