Tactical Tech is looking for partner organisations to co-develop, adapt and host events for two of our projects: The Glass Room and The Data Detox Kit.

Our main goal is to create a global conversation around misinformation, data, and privacy and how technology has an impact on the lives of people. We are looking for organisations who would like to partner with us to help us achieve this goal.

The Glass Room Community edition is an immersive experience that includes a low-cost pop-up exhibition with interactive pieces that helps visitors look into their online life and explore how misinformation spreads. So far we have hosted 300+ events and workshops in 54 countries and we would like to further enhance this design for an eve greater impact. We are looking for partner organisations who would like to adapt the materials for their communities, to experiment with new formats, host the Glass Room Community edition, and most importantly co-develop new content and versions. We are also searching for partners who have a wider network and a willingness to contact existing infrastructures to disseminate the materials. This may include universities, schools, libraries, museums, and anywhere that may positively impact the community.

The Data Detox Kit is a set of step-by-step guides that helps people reflect upon their interactions with technology, and learn how to gain more control over their data privacy, security and well-being. There are also numerous online and in-person workshop materials based on the guides. The past years have focused on localizing and expanding resources, which are now available in 35 languages. We are searching for partners to who are equipped to use, adapt, and outreach already existing materials.

What we can offer you:

  • The opportunity to help shape the projects.
  • Become a multiplier partner. Honorarium for select partners.
  • Promotion within our networks (approx. 6000 monthly newsletter subscribers, 48000 Twitter followers, and more across social media).
  • The chance to join a community of like-minded individuals.
  • Materials and resources that you can use for your own projects, including those which have not yet been published.

The project is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
