Living in a time of global crisis, we know what the problems are – a warming climate, loss of biodiversity, pandemics, political polarisation – but rather than having a coordinated response, we witness ourselves getting further apart.
From the promises of artificial intelligence to the spread of conspiracy theories on social media platforms, digital technologies are seen as both a solution for our crises and also as a root cause. In what ways are technologies the lens through which we witness, investigate and understand our own reactions to crisis and the reactions of others?
To explore how people understand and respond to current global crises, Everything Will Be Fine, curated and co-produced by Tactical Tech, presents the work of over 50 artists, researchers and technologists around the world, including Paolo Cirio, Marjolijn Dijkman, Disnovation.org, Olalekan B. Jeyifous, Vladan Joler, Egor Kraft, Agnieszka Kurant, Sybille Neumeyer, Liam Young, and more.

The ‘outer circle’ of the structure displays large-scale images representing artworks that explore different technological responses to current and future crises. Within the 'inner circle', visitors enter a space for exploration and learning where they can explore different perspectives ranging from investigation to playful provocations. Here, they can dig deeper into themes including surveillance in the city, how our everyday digital tools are used to influence us in a crisis, alternative technological solutions and fantasy futures.
Everything Will Be Fine is hosted in a unique outdoor inflatable structure designed by Czech architects Kogaa and is complemented by a hybrid experience that visitors can access on their mobile phones.
Exhibition hosts will be on-hand to provide further information and answer questions, and the live program will feature guided tours, workshops, and film screenings.
