Following the amazing success of The Glass Room in New York City, we’re working on exciting plans for 2017 to take The Glass Room to more places than ever before.
Through a curated collection of art objects, animated videos, talks and a “Data Detox Bar”, The Glass Room introduced the topics of data and privacy to over 10,000 people in three weeks. Visitors could attend workshops on how to “Master your mobile” or “Degooglize your life”, and take away a Data Detox Kit, for an 8-day digital makeover to improve their online privacy and security.
Working with our partners Mozilla, we’re planning new formats for the Glass Room for events, organisations, public spaces, and individuals.
Over 2017 we’ll be focusing on reaching people in Europe and the US, so if you are involved in an event or an organisation in those regions that want would be interested in finding out more about data and privacy we want to hear from you.
Or if you're simply an individual or you have a group of friends who want to find out more about how taking steps to improve their data privacy, please get in touch.
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
and let us know:
- Who you are
- How you heard about The Glass Room and/or Data Detox Kit
- Tell us about the event, organisations, place or group and why it could benefit from the Data Detox Bar and/or Data Detox Kit
We are still in the early stages of our plans, so it will be some time before we are ready to launch the next stage.
But we’ll get back to you soon with our future plans, and keep you involved as they develop.
