Tactical Technology Collective has published a guide to the EU Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) funding. NGOs and companies in the new EU member states are eligible to apply for this funding.

The language used in EU documents describing these framework programs are known to be all but easy to read though, due to a highly bureaucratic language and much specific terminology used.

The guide, a special edition apart from our other publications, was written as an answer to many requests coming from NGO's we are working with. They had expressed real interest in the EU funding programmes and especially in the Framework Programmes. At the same time however they were missing a better overview of all the information available, as well as a more accessible form of presentation.

The present guide was elaborated to present all relevant information in a much more straightforward style, thus enabling a much broader range of NGO's to consider, prepare and apply for this kind of EU funding. The information gathered consists of several eessential guidelines for the application process and a collection of specific up-to-date information and (web)addresses.

In addition to the original version of this guide, updates are envisaged to be available every six months from the same source as this guide.
